A Benefit Concert for Favarh – The Arc of The Farmington Valley presented by Voya

BUY TICKETS

Enjoy an evening of your Motown favorites with friends under the night sky. Dance and sing along to familiar songs of Motown greats like Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, The Temptations and more. Grab a seat on the lawn or join us for the VIP experience with a catered table for eight from Metro Bis. Gates open at 6:00pm and show starts at 7:30pm! Rain date: Sunday, September 11, 2022.

All proceeds benefit Favarh – The Arc of the Farmington Valley, helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live, work and fully participate in 34 Connecticut communities since 1958.

CONCERT TIME

Gates open at 6 pm for picnicking*. VIP Tables may enter at 5:30 pm. Concert begin at 7:30 pm

Admission ranges from $5/$25 to $1,000.

FOOD & DRINK

Bring an Appetite!

Pack your own picnic* or pre-order your Motown Picnic 3 days in advance for pickup at the event from New England Pasta Company/BeanZ and The Winged Bear. Beverage/Bar Service and Ice Cream will be available on-site for purchase.

* No outside alcohol, canopies, or tents allowed.

* Patrons will not be required to wear masks, although masking and physical distancing is recommended for people who are unvaccinated, based on Centers for Disease Control guidelines.

Parking

Favarh asks that you please carpool whenever possible. Limited FREE parking will be available at the Iron Horse Commuter Lots and the Simsbury Town Offices. Convenient and free shuttle service is available starting at 5PM at Henry James Middle School (handicap accessible).

A limited number of on-site parking spaces will be made available for sale beginning at 5:00 PM on the day of the concert. On-site parking will be first-come, first-served for a fee of $10 per vehicle (including handicapped-accessible parking.) $10 parking will also be available at Vincent Funeral Home (880 Hopmeadow Street).

 

Strictly Prohibited on the Grounds

Smoking, drugs, ball playing or other sports equipment, pets, fireworks, sparklers, firearms or any other incendiary device, radios, boom-boxes or other stereo equipment, solicitation or unauthorized concessions or handouts, tents, tarps and large tables, lewdness, drunkenness or other inappropriate behavior. Audio and video recording and flash photography are prohibited during the performance.
